My Story & Professional Journey

Some people build communities. I bring them to life.

Over the years, I’ve worked at the intersection of community, engagement, and creative industries, leading programs that empower creators, strengthen professional networks, and bring people together in meaningful ways. As Head of Community at Ideas United, I’ve helped build thriving creative communities, increase engagement, and create programming that drives real impact.

One of my favorite projects, Freelance Fundamentals, helped filmmakers navigate the realities of freelance life during the 2023 WGA strike, offering resources, mentorship, and industry insights to help them thrive. Seeing creatives find confidence in their next steps reminded me why I do this work.

At the core of everything I do is a people-first approach. Communities aren’t built on algorithms or engagement metrics. They’re built on real relationships, shared experiences, and human connection.

When I’m not leading community strategy, you’ll find me behind the camera. I’m a passionate film photographer, with a photography book capturing intimate portraits and candid moments. Whether it’s through digital spaces or film negatives, I believe storytelling is the key to building connection.

If you’re looking to build a thriving, engaged community or simply want to chat about creative strategy over coffee (or mezcal!), let’s connect.
